APhiG SPEAKS
OUR ANNUAL PHILANTHROPIC EVENT
FIGHT AGAINST VIOLENCE TOWARDS WOMEN
APhiG Speaks
Sisters from across the nation —California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Northern Illinois University, San Diego State University, University of Arizona, DePaul University, Michigan State University, University of Missouri, Colorado State University, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, University of Nevada, Reno, University of Illinois at Chicago, and University of Minnesota, Twin Cities—came together to take a vow of silence for the fight against violence towards women. Thanks to our national board Philanthropy Chair, Jenn de Ocampo, APhiG Speaks was a powerful and impactful event. Together we were able to spread awareness of this injustice.
Please check out our White Ribbon Campaign for more information of ways you can help end violence toward women.
"Male privilege" is a myth. Women are not servants.
In the U.S., one-third of women murdered each year are killed by intimate partners.
